Ben Studer

Chief Operating Officer

BSN, RN

Benjamin is a Registered Nurse and the current Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Precision Access. Ben’s proficiency and excellence with vascular access come from his time working in the Emergency Department (ED) of level-one trauma centers between Oregon and Minnesota. He began his nursing career after graduating from Anoka-Ramsey Community College, where the faculty recognized him for an outstanding display of leadership, clinical competency, and academic achievement by receiving induction into the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. He then obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Saint Scholastica and is currently exploring the areas of Master of Business Administration and becoming Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC™). Although he has worked in various care settings, he found the fast-paced environment of the ED to be his happy place. After just six months of experience in the ED, he was promoted to the permanent role of Charge Nurse at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Since leaving that position, he has traveled between Oregon and Minnesota to explore what other hospitals have to offer, gaining experience at level-one trauma centers. His passion for finding business solutions to problems in healthcare, along with his excellence in vascular access make him an excellent business partner. Throughout his years as a nurse, Ben has been recognized for providing guidance and leadership on the unit, as well as excellent patient care, earning him multiple Daisy Award nominations from previous patients and fellow staff members. When he isn’t working, you can find him elbow-deep in his gardens, tending to his saltwater reef aquarium, spending time with family, or playing frisbee with Winnie the Pooch.
